The solution was to create an SPi Global team that could perform the administrative tasks related to final fulfillment on behalf of the sales force.
What made the solution workable was a web-accessed CRM system that allowed interaction among the three parties involved – the customers, the sales team and the SPi Global sales support team.
The CRM system allowed the SPi Global agents to directly interact with the publishers’ account managers or the end customers to facilitate the process. With this in place, SPi Global agents quickly and ably took over the time-consuming administrative tasks of the sales force.
Requirements seamlessly handled even during high volume seasons
From 500 to 1,000 orders could be completed by a team of 5, with a turnaround time of 2 days. SPi’s strength in handling publishers systems was instrumental in driving this project. The key to watch out for in this area was that there is disruption happening in the fulfillment process and that knowledge can be eroded over time.
